FUN FACT FOR YA: My grandma Hoffman named me Daren Jay, then my mom remarried when I was 6 to an amazing man. He had 4 kids, one of his kids, now my brother, had the name Daren Robert, so everyone started calling me Dj at a very young age. I never have like the name Daren so I guess it worked out

5 slices of Norwegian pizza, 6 cups of coffee (wtf???) and I was ready to rehearse all day, lol. Felt SO good to get my hands back on the guitars, to sing the songs, and to throw everyone off bustin' out random obscure metal tunes in-between, haha! *Needed* that. Now I'm ready.

Apologies to anyone that went to a 'Bumblefoot Meet-N-Greet' at 4Sound in Bergen last Friday. The people who arranged it seemed to have left out one important detail... LETTING THE ARTIST KNOW.

My advice is to actually have contact with the artist first. Then make plans together. It's a good way to get the artist to show up.

Or perhaps a ripple in the time/space continuum that caused me to jump ahead past the meet-n-greet. And perhaps the responses to the emails, website & Facebook messages I sent the store to re-schedule for Monday actually arrived 40 years ago, during my birth, to a place we now call... 'Zimbabwe'.

Let's just call it mis-communication. I tried folks, I really tried. Sorry I couldn't make it happen for Monday before the show.

Norway is now too close to set up - I'm in GNR-guitarist-on-tour mode and need to stay in that mode, can't get distracted with exactly what I was distracted by all weekend. St. Petersburg couldn't happen because I'm flyin' in right before the show and headin' right out, no time... :P A meet-n-greet still might be possible at Sweden Rock. If I have any more news on this stuff I'll let y'all know immediately
